This is an old Besson body with beautiful silver plating mated to a King valve section that was overhauled by Anderson Plating. Intonation and tone quality are excellent. A student who used this tuba in his high school band decided that he liked it more than the school's brand-new silver-plated Yamaha YBB-321. He also used it in the CMEA regional band, and came very close to making it to all-state band.
